About Hanshi Travis Ginn

Hanshi Travis Ginn has been an instructor and student of the martial arts since the age of 12 and has trained in the martial arts since early 1984. He was granted the title of Senior Grandmaster and holds an 9th Degree Black Belt in the art of Tenbukan Shito-Ryu Karate Do, 9th Degree Black Belt in the art of Tenbukan Bujitsu (Which includes Karate-Jitsu, Ken-Jitsu, Iai-Jitsu, Jo-Jitsu, Kobu-Jitsu, Aiki-Jujitsu, Jiu-Jitsu, and Goshin Jitsu), 7th Degree Black Belt in the art of Kong Soo Do,  6th Degree Black Belt in the art of Tang Soo Do, 6th Degree Black Belt in the art of Chun Moo Hapkido,  and is the Senior Grandmaster Instructor of the Traditional Martial Arts Center in Hendersonville, NC and the President of Ten Bu Kan Bujitsu Renmei. He is also a Shifu in the White Crane Tai Chi System and Qi Gong Instructor under the Shaolin Chuan Fa Association. He teaches a variety of Seminars involving Self Defense and Tai Chi. In 2009 Master Ginn was voted “Master of the Year” in Tang Soo Do along with his school which was voted “Traditional Martial Arts School of the Year”. Hanshi Ginn has also studied in the arts of Aikido, Isshin Ryu, Hun Gar, Wing Chun and Shorei Ryu to name a few. Hanshi Ginn has since dedicated his life to the martial arts and to passing down his knowledge to his students as it has been passed down to him through the long lineage of masters before him.
